Members of the Club must follow the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Club and any rules it may issue from time to time.
The Renewable Energy Investment Club is a scheme to encourage investment in renewable energy enterprises. It makes arrangements for renewable energy companies to link with investors interested in renewable energy. The Club is not undertaking that activity for or with the prospect of any financial gain for itself. The Club itself does not make any investment in any company. Although it is arranging deals in investments, the activities of the Club fall within the exemption for enterprise schemes contained in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Exemption Order 2001).
Companies which provide information to the Club in order to seek investors are known as Published Relevant Firms by the Club.
The Club is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Members are not entitled to sell, copy, publish, distribute or reproduce the information.
Risk Warnings
The securities (shares and bonds) which are issued by Published Relevant Firms are not quoted or dealt in on the London Stock Exchange or any other exchange.
Information which is provided to members about Published Relevant Firms contains information from the Relevant Firm. The information shown on the Club's website is for reference purposes only. Such information is not an offer or recommendation to buy or sell investments.
The accuracy of documents and information submitted to the Club for publication on the Club's website is principally the responsibility of the published relevant firms, directors and their advisers. The Club is not responsible for, nor does it undertake any steps to check the accuracy of any information provided by the published relevant firm. The Club does not offer advice to investors. Members should confirm for their own satisfaction the accuracy of any information before entering into any investment. The information on the Club website is not designed to be used as a basis for an investment.

The Club website is aimed at UK persons only and information about relevant published firms is limited to persons who have become members of the Club by completing a membership application form and being admitted to membership.

The Club will make a summary of that information which it will provide to members in its bulletins and on its website. It is the responsibility of the relevant firm and its directors and advisers to provide such information and confirming the Club's summary is accurate.

Terms and Conditions
Members of the Club:
1. agree to accept and follow the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Club and any published Rules;
2. agree to pay any relevant membership or other fee if a Relevant Firm;
3. acknowledge they have read and understand the Legal Information Section of the website.
Members will seek to ensure that they obtain relevant information regarding any particular risks that a Published Relevant Firm may be exposed to.
There will be different risks in different investments of Published Relevant Firms. The investments of Published Relevant Firms may not be suitable for all members and the Club is not suggesting that they are or indeed promoting such investments. If you have any doubts you should consult an authorised financial advisor.
The responsibility of information sent by a Published Relevant Firms remains with the Published Relevant Firm and its advisors, its Directors and any other persons named with that responsibility in that information document.
Where information on the web-site may be considered to be a Financial Promotion, which is defined by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the Club has used its reasonable endeavours to ensure that those responsible for that information either have had the material approved for the purposes of Section 21 of that Act by a person authorised under that Act to do so or that it falls within a relevant exemption to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
The Club is registered under the Data Protection Act. In becoming a member of the Club you agree to the Club forwarding certain information regarding you. You consent to provide the information which may be used only for the purposes of the Club. We do not share this information with other companies or disclose information about you to any third party without your permission.
From time to time, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information which we would collect, in a way which does not identify you personally, in order to provide some general background information about membership of the Club. We will inform you of when we do that. You will be entitled to receive a copy of any information which the Club has about you by writing to the Company Secretary of the Club.
