How does the investment club work?

Developers approach the Club with proposals for projects. In order to obtain information and be eligible to invest in these projects, you need to become a member of the Renewable Energy Investment Club. Membership is free until 30th September 2002.

The details of approved projects are then provided to members, outlining the financial and other details. Projects can involve hydro, wind, solar, biomass and other renewable technologies.

Members make an independent decision on the investment opportunity and risk involved with particular project proposals. If they choose, members can invest directly in the proposal as individuals or pool resources for joint investments.
